Leila McReynolds Shultz, President of the Bartlesville Women’s Network, presents a check to Kathy Hixon, coordinator Bartlesville Public School librarians for elementary schools.
Bartlesville Women’s Network is providing each of the six elementary school librarians $500 to spend on books in literature, science, technology, and math – especially those books featuring young girls and women as role models. The check totaling $3,000 is a donation from our non-profit organization to the Bartlesville Public Schools, furthering our community support of education for young women.
